Race car without a windshield.
One step forward, two steps back… or something like that. When I finally connected all those dozens or hundreds of cables, feeling happy that everything finally works, I realized it would be good to finally finish the acoustic treatment of the ceiling. Building the studio reminds me a bit of creating a mandala. Thanks to Mariusz Dziurawiec for the motivation and great support I get from you. And he wrote to me: “you have built an awesome race car, but you’re driving it without the windshield, which you left for later.” I totally agree!
It was supposed to take a week, but it took over a month of hard work. Fortunately, it was worth it. Besides the visual aspect, there is a huge difference in the room’s sound. The audio is very precise, which makes decision-making during mixing or mastering much faster and yields better results.
